The 2022 ILA Annual Conference Program Committee is seeking program proposals for this year’s Conference, scheduled for October 18-20 (Tuesday-Thursday), at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
This year’s theme–“At the Heart of It”–focuses on what brings us together and how we can remove barriers to collaboration. Therefore, the Committee encourages you to widen the scope of your presentation by bringing libraries of different types or sizes together. We recognize the struggles and separation brought on by the pandemic; and through this collective experience, we sought focus and clarity in our personal, professional, and organizational identities.
The theme is a celebration of coming together and renewing connections to find purpose within ourselves, our organizations, and our communities. The Committee is asking presenters to take a different approach to developing program proposals and to go beyond reporting on initiatives in your library. Preference will be given to proposals that focus on the processes of developing programs, implementation, and measuring impact.
Ignite! Session Proposals
Inspire with quick takes on your latest innovations, interesting ideas, and new technologies or services. Each five-minute Ignite! presentation will require you to create a maximum of 20 slides.

Are you a first-time presenter and need/want some assistance putting together your first session? You can submit a request for speaker support, and the Committee will help you develop your program.
