HSLI 2018 Conference Friday Morning CE Session: “Dissemination in Action: Communicating Research in a Digital World”
The HSLI 2018 Conference Planning Committee is pleased to announce information about another of the continuing-education opportunities that will be available at the conference.
On Friday morning, Karen Gutzman, Digital Innovations Specialist at Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, will teach “Dissemination in Action: Communicating Research in a Digital World.” Increasingly, librarians are involved in tracking research dissemination and impact. Karen will provide a solid background on research dissemination using a variety of social media and other online tools. Participants will learn practical ways to help their patrons develop dissemination strategies and inspire compelling impact statements.
The 2018 Health Science Librarians of Illinois Annual Conference will take place from Wednesday, September 26, to Friday, September 28 in Rockford, IL at the Cliffbreakers Hotel & Conference Center [also known as: Riverview Inn & Suites, an Ascent Hotel Collection Member]. Conference registration is now open. Registrants will select continuing-education courses as part of the registration process. Fees include the costs of Conference sessions, meals, and continuing-education sessions.
