A number of librarians from Illinois academic and medical libraries gave presentations at the 2016 Medical Library Association conference. This year’s meeting took place in Toronto, Canada, from May 13 to 18 and was held jointly with the Canadian Health Libraries Association’s annual conference and the International Clinical Librarian Conference. The theme of “Mosaic” explored ways in which libraries can go beyond providing just conventional products and services, in order to make themselves a vital part of the broader communities to which they belong.
The sessions are listed below. For those including presenters who are not from Illinois, or who are from Illinois but are non-librarians, just the Illinois librarians are listed. To see a full list of sessions, including descriptions, go here.
