As librarians begin their new academic year and are making travel plans for conferences, the Planning Committee would like you to Save the Date and consider attending the 2018 KLA/SLA Joint Spring Conference held at General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton, Kentucky April 4 – 6, 2018. This conference is a low-cost, low-pressure conference and is good for librarians and library students. Co-sponsored by the Academic and Special Library Sections of the Kentucky Library Association and the Kentucky Chapter of the Special Libraries Association, the conference offers numerous educational and networking opportunities to attendees from various institutions
While the planning committee has not finalized a theme or featured speakers, we want to invite you to add the conference to your calendar and your consideration as you are thinking of where your professional development opportunities lie for this academic year. As mentioned, the cost for the conference is relatively low, as listed below.
