Are you new to consumer health and/or health sciences librarianship? Do you wish to provide health information services to consumers, health professionals or health professions students via free health information resources and not sure where to start? This one-hour, in-person or online, class provides an introduction to MedlinePlus and PubMed–two free, online databases from the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. Learn the best uses of these databases, how they interact with each other, and whom to contact when you need help.
The class will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, February 17. The instructor will be the Greater Midwest Region’s Jacqueline Leskovec. It will tentatively be worth one hour of CE credit from the Medical Library Association. For more information, and to register, click here.
