The Medical Library Association’s Collection Development Caucus will host an informal chat session in August for those new-ish to health sciences collection development! Come and chat with colleagues who have only been involved in health sciences collection development for a few years or less, and share your experiences. More experienced members are invited to join, too, to offer your tips and tricks!
Join us on Wednesday, August 7, at 2:00 PM CDT, via this Zoom link. There is no need to register in advance.
The discussion will be facilitated by Christy Hogan, Collection Development Librarian for the Health Sciences at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Christy has been in her newly developed role for less than a year and was previously employed in her library’s cataloging department.
Non-MLA members are welcome to attend and participate in the discussion. The session will not be recorded to encourage open discussion.
