We’re excited to invite you to join the newly-formed AI Community of Practice (AI COP) for academic librarians. Our inaugural meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 28, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CDT.
The AI COP aims to create a vibrant, inclusive community where academic librarians can explore the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence together. The key aspects of our community are as follows:
- Open dialogue: All viewpoints on AI are respected and valued.
- Knowledge sharing: Learn from colleagues and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Resource development: Work together to create shared AI resources and publish them in open access institutional repositories.
To participate in our first meeting, please register here. Join us in shaping the future of AI in academic libraries.
Hello,
I am writing after having listened to Michael Flierli’s presentation on AI and health sciences librarians, via the NNLM/MLA training series. I am gathering information and resources for a short entry into an international publication on digital health literacy and AI. I am wondering if there is a print version of this presentation, or possibly a reference or two that I might follow up on, that would be accessible to an international audience of librarians.
