The Association of College & Research Libraries STS (Science & Technology Section) Conference Program Planning Committee is pleased to announce that registration for the 2022 STS Conference Program is now open! This event will be held virtually on Tuesday, June 14, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM CDT.
This year’s program features a panel presentation introducing participants to the new (pending) Science Literacy Framework, viewable here. Panelists include the following individuals.
- Nikki Rech, the Sciences Research and Instruction Librarian at Georgia Southern University and a member of the committee who wrote the framework
- Aditi Gupta, the Engineering & Science Librarian at University of Victoria Libraries
- Anamika Megwalu, the Faculty Director of Library Instruction & Assessment at San Jose State University
After the presentation, participants will break into small groups to discuss their experiences or to delve deeper into the framework. We are calling for small group moderators who will be given a list of discussion questions prior to the event. Interested in volunteering? Tell is when you register!
