The Mortenson Center for International Library Programs and the American Library Association invite you to the Project Welcome: Libraries Serving Refugees and Asylum Seekers Summit on February 6, 2017 in Chicago.

Join us for an opportunity to learn about and contribute to the development of national recommendations and an action plan on information resources, services, training, and research needed to support the resettlement and integration of refugees and asylum seekers in the United States.
The meeting will feature presentations and discussions with 15 Thought Leaders from national and international libraries, international and national governmental agencies, and national resettlement and social services. Posters, presented by researchers, librarians, and program administrators, will explore best practices and research, including the information needs of refugees and asylum seekers, as well as the library services needed to support and empower them in their resettlement and integration process.
