Registration for this year’s ILA Annual Conference opens in less than one month. Mark your calendars for Monday, July 22, when registration officially opens.
Get ready for an exciting array of events, networking opportunities, sessions, and vendors from Tuesday, October 8, to Thursday, October 10, at the Peoria Civic Center. Plus, we have an incredible lineup of speakers, including Nick Offerman, Mychal Threets, and more.
Want to participate in the Conference? The ILA Conference Program Committee is accepting submissions for poster sessions, which will be held in the exhibit hall on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10. The deadline to submit a session is Friday, July 26.
We’re excited to announce that we’re bringing back the ILA Annual Conference Internship Program. The Program is open to all part-time and full-time students in a library- or information-science program at a school in Illinois, in addition to 2024 graduates from a library- or information-science program in Illinois. Applications must be submitted by Friday, August 16.
If you work at a small or rural library, consider applying for the Small and Rural Libraries ILA Annual Conference Grant. The Grant, presented by the ILA Small and Rural Libraries Forum, was created to encourage ILA membership and attendance at the ILA Annual Conference by small and rural library workers. Two $2,000 grants will be awarded to offset the cost of attending this year’s ILA Annual Conference. The deadline to apply is Monday, July 15.
