(via ORCID)
Please join us on Tuesday, September 24, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM CDT, for our 10th ORCID US Community Showcase webinar, where we will hear ORCID adoption case studies from ORCID US Community member organizations University of Arkansas and Temple University. ORCID (Open Researcher & Contributor Identifier) provides ORCID iDs and corresponding ORCID records for researchers, with an API (application programming interface) that organizations can use to help streamline publishing, funding, reporting, and other workflows across the research and scholarly communication ecosystem. ORCID awareness and adoption is increasingly important at US institutions, as US federal funding agencies are starting to require ORCID iDs for researchers as part of public access and research security initiatives.
- Featured Case Studies:
- University of Arkansas (Lora Lennertz, Director for Open Education, Data, and Publishing Services)
- Temple University (Alicia Pucci, Scholarly Communications Associate)
Please register here. The session will be recorded and shared with all who register.
