Contact the Symposium Planning Committee at: cus-slis-symposium@cua.edu if you have questions.
This is the only DC-area symposium that brings together practitioners, students, and faculty from all sectors of the information profession for a day of sharing and collaboration. Details of the program are available at: lis.catholic.edu/news-events/symposium/2019/index.html
This year we are excited to have Mr. Mark Sweeney, Principal Deputy Librarian of Congress as our keynote speaker! Please visit the symposium website to learn more.
In addition, a panel of cataloging experts from the Library of Congress will discuss the RDA Toolkit Restructure and Redesign Project and its implications for LC cataloging practices and the Bibframe editor.
Seats are limited, so register early! Past symposia have sold out! We anticipate that this one will sell out quickly too.
We look forward to seeing you at the Symposium!
