Join us for the DLS Instruction Section Webinar “Using Open Educational Resources for Information Literacy Instruction”. Ru Story Huffman will discuss the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) as pedagogy for teaching information literacy in this presentation. The information literacy classroom is ripe for transformative instruction. Using free and open resources including textbooks, websites, free access journals and ebooks, and Web 2.0 tools, allows the instructor to tailor content and instructional techniques to best fit student learning outcomes.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday, April 24, from 11:00 to 12:00 PM CDT. To register, go here. If possible, have a mic available for discussion. A recording of the event will be sent out via the DLS Listserv. Space is limited, so please register only if you plan to attend the live event.
For questions about the webinar or issues with registration, please contact Anjali Bhasin (bhasin2@wisc.edu) or Michelle Keba (MICHELLE_KEBA@pba.edu).
