Immersion is in Chicago this summer!
The ACRL Information Literacy Immersion Program (http://www.ala.org/acrl/conferences/immersion) is an intensive 4 ½ day program designed for those who contribute to the educational role of libraries in higher education. Through a critical examination of information literacy, teaching and learning, and influence and leadership, the Immersion program curriculum aims to develop critically reflective practitioners who go on to enact change in their practice, projects, or personal and professional goals.

Registration is capped at 100 participants. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Scholarships
Immersion ’19 scholarships (http://www.ala.org/acrl/conferences/immersion/scholarships) provide opportunities for academic and research librarians from diverse backgrounds and at under-represented institutions to expand their professional horizons and to update their skills and knowledge by participating in the Immersion ’19 Program. Six scholarships providing complimentary registration (a $1,895 value) will be awarded.
