(via ACRL)
So much of what we do in classrooms, workshops, and one-on-one depends on good learning materials. Do you have information literacy instruction materials you’ve made that would benefit others? The ACRL Instruction Section Framework for Information Literacy Sandbox (FILS) Committee will be hosting a Sandbox Upload-a-thon on Wednesday, April 19, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM CDT, via Zoom. We hope you can attend!
The goal of the Upload-a-thon is to encourage librarians and library workers to share materials they’ve created by uploading them to the ACRL Framework Sandbox. FILS Committee members will describe how to upload materials and talk about how uploading and sharing these materials can be documented and described in promotion or performance appraisals. Anyone is welcome at this event, whether you have experience with the Sandbox or not. We especially encourage library students and early-career librarians to attend. The FILS Committee will select one contribution from the Upload-a-thon to be featured in the Fall 2023 Instruction Section Newsletter.
