Are you an instruction librarian or just interested in supporting instruction? Have you considered joining the ACRL Instruction Section (IS)? Or, are you a current or previous member of IS looking to join again or become more engaged with section activities?
Please consider joining memb?ers of the Instruction Section Membership and Executive Committees for an online “Orientation to ACRL Instruction Section”, scheduled for Monday, January 31, at 1:00 PM CDT.
For prospective members, this will be an opportunity to learn more about the activities and resources of the IS, which includes the administration of the PRIMO and Framework Sandbox websites and the development and promotion of instructional resources such as the Information Literacy in the Disciplines guides. You will also get information on the benefits of involvement and how you can get started with IS. More experienced members will have a chance to hear about additional opportunities for engaging with IS and also to share how IS has benefitted them.
Visit the registration link in advance of the orientation. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with more information about joining the orientation. The orientation will be recorded and posted online following the event.
We hope to see you there!
