Registration is open for the Research Forum at Concordia University Library (Montreal, Canada). Our 20th Library Research Forum will take place over two days, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 27. The event will be held online through Zoom, and registration is free.
Since 2002, Concordia’s Library Research Forum has provided librarians, archivists, graduate students, teaching faculty, and information professionals with an opportunity to describe and promote their completed or in-progress research, practical case studies or projects. The Forum also provides a venue for researchers to seek suggestions for enhancing their research interests, to identify potential new partners for projects, to test the effectiveness of their undertakings, and to promote research in academic libraries.
The topic of this year’s plenary session is “Racial Capitalism and LIS Knowledge Production”. The session will take the form of a conversation with writer David James Hudson, and the moderator for the session will be Désirée Rochat.
