Join us January 24-26, Wednesday-Friday, for a free virtual showcase that will highlight successful past funded NNLM projects, feature grant writing advice, and offer ideas on how to partner with NNLM to turn your project into reality!
The 2024 NNLM Virtual Symposium is designed to showcase a variety of events sponsored by the NNLM Regions, Offices, and Centers (ROCs) over the past few years. It will provide an opportunity to learn about the exciting projects being done by the ROCs as well as by award recipients. A wide range of topics will be covered,
The event is intended to help:
• Increase capacity to apply for grants to enhance engagement
• Identify and adapt projects to meet the needs of community members
• Demonstrate the value of the NNLM and its resources
Who Should Attend?
This symposium is designed for health professionals, students, professional librarians of all types, community members, and anyone interested in how they can be engaged with health information resources.
What to Expect?
• Three Days: January 24-26 (Wednesday-Friday)
• Continuing education from the Medical Library Association (12 hours)
• 12 hours of engaging content from our members with NNLM support
• Ideas of programs and projects you can adapt to meet the needs of your community
• 1-hour session times with a 15-minute break before the next begins. All sessions are live and will be recorded
• All this for free and open to everyone!
Who are the Presenters?
This symposium will share knowledge and expertise from the NNLM, community partners, NNLM award recipients, and others. Each NNLM Regional Medical Library, Office, and Center will have representation from a project or program they’ve funded or supported!
