Registration is open for the free Scholarly Snippets webinar “Basic Statistical Literacy”. There are two offerings, one on Tuesday, December 10, and the other on Tuesday, December 17. Both offerings last from 12:00 to 12:30 PM CDT.
Statistics can be overwhelming, but these sessions can help! Join us to build your knowledge base of terminology and concepts and then interpret the statistical findings of actual publications. Concepts covered include distributions, assumptions, and hypothesis testing. It is intended for those with little to no statistical background or just need a refresher on the basics.
The presenter is Morgan Choate, MLIS, Clinical and Instruction Librarian at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Savitt Medical Library.
