Registration is open for the Georgia Library Association’s Carterette Series Webinar “E-Resource Assessment: Flexible, Transparent, and Sustainable Strategies”. It will take place on Wednesday, October 25, at 1:00 PM CDT. The webinar is free.
Description:
This webinar will discuss strategies for implementing an e-resource collection assessment plan that is flexible, transparent, and sustainable. With the actively changing scholarly communication landscape, tight collections budgets, and limited staff time it is important to consider efficient ways in which we can capture and convey data about expensive electronic resources on a regular basis. Whether you are starting from scratch or tweaking your collection assessment procedures, this webinar will explore the considerations necessary to implement a plan that works for your institution. This webinar will dive into data types, assessment tools, approaches to communication, and future challenges to e-resource assessment.
