Please join us for the 2018 Iowa GODORT (Government Documents Round Table) Summer Workshop, to be hosted online via Zoom!
Registration form is available. There is no cost. This event is open to all interested librarians, not just those from Iowa.
The Iowa GODORT Summer Workshop will be held on Friday, July 20, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM CDT.
The workshop will be presented online via Zoom.
Presenters will include:
1-2 p.m. Tom Keyser from the State Library of Iowa, who will talk about current state
government information and a project to digitize the historic Iowa
Legislative Documents series (70 years, 147 linear feet);
2-2:45 p.m. Lisa DeLuca from Seton Hall University who will talk about international data
sources and issues related to data literacy;
2:45 – 4:00 p.m. Ashely Dahlen from the Government Publishing Office will present “Govinfo.gov for Beginners,” including an Introduction to the FDLP (Federal Depository Library Program) Academy.
