LOEX is pleased to announce LOEX 2018 Encore: live virtual “encore” sessions of a selection of breakouts from the LOEX 2018 Conference in Houston, TX, which was held May 3-5.
Since not everyone can attend the LOEX Conference (whether it is for budget, timing, or other reasons), and even those who do attend the conference occasionally miss a session they would like to see, we hope these sessions offer a nice additional learning opportunity.
These live, 1-hour interactive sessions will be held in WebEx. The list of sessions (all start at 1PM Eastern):
June 14 – Fake News, Lies, and a For-Credit Class: Lessons Learned from Teaching a 7-Week Fake News Undergraduate Library Course
June 15 – Accessibility, the Final Frontier: These are our voyages into best practices…
June 19 – Aligning the Stars: Mapping Out a Collaboration Constellation
June 20 – The Librarians’ Guide to the Information Literacy Galaxy: Leading Campus Conversations
*Registration* is open now.
More details, including information about registration fees, are available at the “Virtual Sessions” section of the Conference website.
