Dear CARLI Member Library Staff:
CARLI is planning an exciting day-long leadership symposium for mid-level leaders, “Mid-Level Leaders Symposium: CARLI’s Next Deans and Directors,” from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 25, 2019. The event will feature Karen S. Goins, executive coach, facilitator, consultant, speaker, and author. Karen will guide attendees to:
· Understand what leadership is;
· Discuss leadership competencies that increase success in a library environment;
· Have meaningful conversation with each other about senior leadership and upward mobility topics;
· Develop a personal plan to improve leadership competencies; and
· Have fun during the day while the group is learning!
