Registration is open for the ACRL Health Sciences Interest Group’s next First Friday Forum, which will take place on Friday, September 6, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM CDT. The topic is “Literary and Scoping Reviews: Setting up the Groundwork for Solid Research Projects”, and the presenter is Dr. Howard Rodriguez-Mori, Associate Professor of Library and Information Services at the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine. This webinar will briefly review literary reviews and their functions as a process and as a research methodology. The second part of the webinar will focus on the use of scoping reviews as a tool for students and researchers to organize and manage citations, quotes, research gaps, and relevant findings.
To register, please go here. We will record the presentation portion, which we estimate will take up the first hour, and turn the recording off for discussion. After the Forum, we will post the recording and slides on the ACRL HSIG research guide and sent them out to the ACRL HSIG listserv and all registrants.
