Registration is open for the NNLM webinar “Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) Changes and PubMed Searching 2025”. It will take place on Wednesday, February 19, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM CDT. Please see below for more information, including the link to registration.
Each year, the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) are updated. How does this affect your PubMed searches? What happens when a term gets changed, added, removed, or moved to a different part of the MeSH hierarchy? How do you accommodate for vocabulary changes over time in your comprehensive searches? How do you check your saved searches and alerts?
During this interactive class, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from NLM staff about these changes, ask questions, and practice searching with MeSH in PubMed.
The instructor is Catherine Staley, Trainer, UEP (User Engagement Program), at the National Library of Medicine.
The class is worth 1.50 hours of MLA CE credit at the “Beginner” and “Intermediate” levels. This is a National NNLM class.
