Registration is open for the NNLM webinar “Mental Health in the Workplace”. It will take place on Wednesday, January 15, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM CDT. Please see below for more information, including the link to registration.
Many of us spend 40 or more hours a week at work, so it is not surprising that the workplace affects our mental health and well-being. The first half of this one-hour webinar will look at how to improve workplace mental health and wellbeing following the U.S. Surgeon General framework of 5 essential components for workplace mental health and wellbeing. The second half will explore the eight dimensions of health we can use as individuals to improve our mental health and well-being.
The instructor is Tiffany Chavis, Outreach and Education Librarian at the University of Maryland Baltimore.
The class is worth 1.00 hour of MLA and CHIS Level 1 CE credit at the “Beginner” and “Intermediate” levels. This is a National NNLM class.
