We are happy to announce that registration is now open for the fully-online course on “Bibliometric Data Sources and Indicators”. This course is provided by Leiden University’s Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) in collaboration with the Galter Health Sciences Library at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.

The course will be conducted virtually from November 13 to 16 (Monday-Thursday), with two sessions per day. The morning sessions will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 AM CDT, followed by the afternoon sessions from 12:00 to 2:00 PM CDT. Instructors are Clara Calero-Medina, Vincent Traag, and Ludo Waltman.
After completing the course, you will be able to:
- know the various bibliometric databases and their strengths and weaknesses;
- have a solid understanding of the definition, calculation, and interpretation of a wide range of bibliometric indicators.
