The SLA-PAM (Special Library Association Physics-Astronomy-Mathematics Division) Professional Development Committee (PDC) is excited to offer you an opportunity to advance your STEM LibGuides. This event is co-sponsored by the PAM 50th Anniversary Task Force. PAM Attendees will earn one golden ticket by attending but all STEM librarians are welcome to attend this program.
On Thursday, April 21, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM CDT, Danny Dotson will share some techniques for creating advanced LibGuides. If you have a LibGuides account, please follow along and be interactive!
You will be shown features such as:
- Creating a scrolling gallery for books.
- Using a tabbed box to create topical sections.
- Using multiple pages to parse out content into themes.
- Shortcuts – when you want to add a lot of stuff fast.
- Using the usage statistics to determine the use for your guides and their pages.
Register here.
Important: This virtual program will include automated captioning. If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or ASL interpretation to participate in this event, please e-mail dotson.77@osu.edu by Sunday, April 10.
