The Boot Camp will take place from Sunday, June 9, to Tuesday, June 11, on the Fort Garry campus of the University of Manitoba, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is an annual professional development event for librarians who support research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). TNSBC activities span three days and feature educational presentations delivered by scientists and STEM librarians.
This year’s boot camp features faculty members from the University of Manitoba speaking on Indigenous science undergraduate programs, Manitoba astronomy and astrophysics, equity and data, genetics and fitness levels in polar bears, climate change, and medical physics.
