The University of Chicago Joseph Regenstein Library will host “Clear Skies, Clear Minds: Harnessing Open Research to Find Climate Solution”, an in-person public event on Thursday, February 13, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM CDT. The schedule includes breakfast and a post-event reception.
The conference addresses climate change, climate systems engineering, and open science. Learn about climate change and its impacts as explained in plain language, develop an understanding of climate systems engineering as a solution to climate change problems, and discover how open science can help advance climate research and education about climate change.
Attendees may come for the full program or individual sessions. There will be time for a moderated Q&A with the audience in each session. Thanks to the generous support by the Kathleen and Howard Zar Science Fund, this event is free and open to the public.
Registration is required. Please register here. For additional details, including the full schedule, and to request accommodations, please go here.
