The Great Lakes Science Boot Camp 2020 is postponed to 2021 for the in-person format. The planning committee is, however, putting together a free slate of virtual meetings for Thursdays in June and July (with a few exceptions–see below), all lasting from 10:00 to 11:00 AM CDT.
- June 4–Open Discussion on libraries/librarians dealing with services during COVID-19
- June 11–No GLSBC event – consider New England Science Boot Camp
- June 18–Psychology issues related to COVID-19
- June 25–Open Discussion on issues related to reopening our spaces
- July 2–No GLSBC event – July 4 holiday
- July 9–3D printing and medicine – PPE and more
- July 16–Lightning Talks
- July 23–Lightning Talks
- July 30–Epidemiology and modeling
The planning committee is requesting participants register ahead of time, so that the committee can send out Zoom access information. To register, please go here. The deadline is Monday, June 1. After registration closes, each participant will receive a link and a password to use for access to all of the above events one wishes to attend.
