Colorado State University Libraries is working to re-envision its faculty mentoring program, centering inclusivity in the process. Join us for a virtual panel discussion on inclusive mentorship with:
- Juliann Couture, Director of the Researcher & Collections Engagement Team, University of Colorado Boulder, discussing her collaborative articles on mentoring mid-career academic librarians.
- Lijuan Xu, Acting Director of Research & Instructional Services, Lafayette College, discussing her collaborative panel on mentoring experiences of minoritized librarians presented at the ACRL 2023 Conference.
- Christine Kreger, Professional Development Consultant, Colorado State Library, discussing her collaborative work on building a statewide library mentorship program.
- Bailey Wallace, Department Head of Access & User Services, University of Colorado Denver, discussing her collaborative chapter, “Undoing the Dyad: Re-examining Mentorship with a Feminist Lens,” published in Academic Library Mentoring: Fostering Growth and Renewal, vol. 1 (ACRL, 2021).
Panelists’ presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. This free webinar will be recorded, and a link will be sent out to registrants afterward.
