Are you a Chicago academic librarian who is concerned about our state legislature and funding for libraries? Would you like to have some quality time with legislators to talk with them? February 2 will be your chance! The Illinois Library Association sponsors meetups where librarians can meet with legislators to let them know what is important to us. The second annual Chicago event will be on February 2 at Maggiano’s, 111 W. Grand Ave. This is your chance to meet your state legislators and give them feedback.
The schedule for the day is below.
11:30 AM: check in and doors open
12:00 PM: lunch is served
1:00 PM: program begins
2:30 PM: program concludes
