The #RBMS21 (ACRL Rare Books & Manuscripts Section) 2021 Conference, “Power, Resistance and Leadership”, will take place online from Monday, June 7, to Thursday, June 10. There is just one day remaining until the early-bird registration deadline. To receive the early-bird registration rate, a $50 savings, you must register here by Friday, May 28.
The virtual RBMS 2021 Conference will feature a mix of semi-live and on-demand programs, interactive discussions, eye-popping posters, a conversation wall, fun connections, prizes, and content access for 1 year to registered attendees. This conference will critically examine the existing power structures that have shaped and continue to impact special collections and archives. The program will explore the power dynamics within our profession and the ways in which we experience, exert, and/or defy power. The content will provide participants tools and strategies that will inspire and lead to transformative change.
Registration questions can be directed to the Conference Manager, Tory Ondrla, at tondrla@ala.org.
