In an effort to connect with local organizations and model collaboration for our attendees, the 2023 ILA Annual Conference will feature a community project.
Our partner in this project, the Central Illinois Foodbank, is a non-profit organization addressing food insecurity in the central and southern Illinois area. In the last fiscal year, they distributed 12 million pounds of food to over 150 partner agencies.
Our support of this organization plants the seeds for future collaboration between ILA and other non-profits. This work keeps us firmly rooted in the local communities who are supporting us during this conference.
For this project, we are asking attendees to donate materials to the Foodbank. These items can be donated at the Conference or during evening events. Participation is recommended, but not required.
Those who participate will be eligible to win a free one-year ILA membership.
For more information, including a list of the food and non-food items the Foodbank has requested, along with the types of items it will not accept, please go here.
