We’re excited to announce the 2024 OCLC Resource Sharing Conference (RSC24) virtual web series. Each year, RSC unites the global resource sharing community, letting us connect with one another. This online conference fosters learning, enabling us to collaborate on new ideas as well as share best practices and innovative approaches.
The RSC24 program committee, consisting of members from the ILL community and OCLC staff, is particularly interested in creating a program series around these topics:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ILL
- Automations
- Configurations, custom holdings, system settings
- Copyright
- Cross-departmental collaboration – ILL, circulation, collections, reference
- International ILL
- Managing digital content (CDL, ebooks, streaming)
- Statistics and reporting
We need your help. Please share your insights and expertise with your fellow ILL professionals by submitting a presentation proposal using the linked form below. If you have an idea for a presentation in a different format than indicated on the form, feel free to submit it, and we can reach out to you any questions. The events are scheduled on Wednesdays, as listed in the proposal form, starting on March 6.
The program committee will be accepting proposals for:
- Full presentations (60 minutes; up to 3 presenters)
- Panel presentations (60 minutes; 3-4 presenters)
- Lightning sessions (up to 20 minutes)
- Workshops (60 minutes; interactive, technical; up to 3 presenters)
The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, January 26, 2024. Please contact Carmen Byg, Community Manager, if you have questions.
The RSC24 Program Committee and your OCLC Resource Sharing Team look forward to receiving your RSC24 presentation proposal.
