Fall is almost here… Don’t miss the opportunity to join us in Atlanta for
DIGITAL DIRECTIONS
Fundamentals of Creating and Managing Digital Collections
October 15-16, 2018 – Atlanta, Georgia
Registration deadline: OCTOBER 6.
About the Digital Directions Professional Development Conference:
Two full days of instruction on best practices and practical strategies for the creation, curation, and use of digital collections. The Digital Directions conference is geared toward professionals working with digital collections at archives, libraries, museums, historical organizations, government agencies, business and special libraries and archives, and other organizations that steward digital collections.
Just getting started with digitization? Or trying to bring several digital projects together into a cohesive digital preservation program? Digital Directions provides a comprehensive overview as well as a refresher on current standards and best practices. Participants have often commented that meeting colleagues who share similar challenges and interacting one-on-one with conference faculty are among the most valuable aspects of the program. Seats for the optional discussion lunch with faculty members on Day 2 are going fast!
