This is the last chance to register for “Library Research: Tips for Starting a Research Project at Your Library” from Amigos Library Services. The class will take place on Thursday, April 8, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM CDT. A description of the course’s content is below.
Research is necessary to understand cause and effect relationships, the best strategies for working with communities, how to teach, and so much of life. Research makes sense of things that are opaque. All research projects start with curiosity and a clear question. In this course, you will be introduced to various research methods. The instructor will then walk through how to select the best research method for your question(s). You will leave the course with ideas for how to start a research project at your library. Attendees will write research questions, discover different research methods, and align research questions with research methods.
The deadline to register is Monday, April 5. Click here to do so. The cost is $95.00 for Amigos members and $155 for non-members.
