If you missed the first announcement, we’re happy to share again that the ILA Marketing Forum is bringing back its popular Mini-Conference on Friday, April 26 (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM CDT) and Friday, May 17 (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM CDT). Both days will take place virtually.
Under the theme “Navigating Through These Challenging Times”, the Conference will delve into the art of effectively conveying messages to the media amidst difficult circumstances. We’re delighted to announce that the forum has enlisted the expertise of Chicago’s leading public relations firm, Mekky Media Relations. They will conduct a media training session, offering insights and time-tested strategies for effective communication with the media.
Once you’ve honed your media communication skills, get insights about cultivating and sustaining relationships with the media from WBEZ Chicago Metro Reporter, Adora Namigadde.
Plus, we’ve lined up some engaging sessions! That’s right, fellow members of the Illinois library community will be sharing their best practices and expertise on topics ranging from annual reports to engagement!
Registration for both days of the Conference closes Friday, April 19. This event is open to everyone, including those who work in libraries outside of Illinois.
Visit the ILA website, read about the speakers, check out the schedule, and register to attend!
