(via IACRL)
Join the IACRL Conference and Continuing Education Committee for a one-hour discussion on initiating or advancing Open Educational Resources (OER) initiatives with a focus on the Illinois State Library Grant for OER. Titled “Kickstart OER with Grant Funding, aka ‘So, I’ve been named Project Director/Manager…What Does That Mean?'”, the webinar will take place on Thursday, March 7, at 12:00 PM CDT.
Gain insights from Kim Hale at Columbia College, Chicago Library, and Dr. Lauren Kosrow from the College of DuPage Library, as they share their experiences with OER projects. Cathy Mayer from Elgin Community College will provide a grant writer’s perspective.
Also, Daniel Matthews, Past President of IACRL and current Chair of the IACRL Awards and Nominations Committees, will speak about the OER Campus Kickstart: Award for Growing Illinois OER Programs.
The webinar is designed for both seasoned librarians engaged in OER projects and those venturing into this field. Following the discussion, there will be a Q&A session.
