Registration is now open for the RDAP (Research Data Access & Preservation Association) 2021 virtual summit! This year’s theme is “Radical Change and Data”, and the event will take place March 10-12 (Wednesday-Friday), on Zoom. Registration for the summit is $30, and additional workshops are $10
We are also offering scholarships to attend the Summit and applications are open now. More information about scholarships is included below and is also on the website. The full summit schedule will be posted on the website soon, but a general outline of events is available here.
Scholarships
Through a joint effort from the Sponsorship and Conference Action Committees, scholarships are available to cover registration for the Research Data Access & Preservation Summit 2021. Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend the Summit and compose a blog post about their conference experience to be posted on the RDAP website. Scholarship winners are also strongly encouraged to write up their RDAP conference experience as a commentary for the JeSLIB RDAP 2021 Special Issue.
Please submit your application by Friday, February 19, through the online scholarship application form. The application should include a personal statement no longer than 1600 characters (roughly 250 words) describing a bit about yourself and how attending the Summit will inform your scholarship or practice. Contact Tess Grynoch, at tess.grynoch@umassmed.edu, if you have any questions. Winners will be notified by February 24.
