The call for papers for the Journal of Open Educational Resources in Higher Education (JOERHE) is now open. JOERHE welcomes original quantitative and qualitative research articles and discussion pieces concerning Open Pedagogy, Open Data, and analyses of current topics in Open Educational Resources.
Authors are encouraged to discuss the practical applications of their knowledge and findings, propose best practices, discuss theoretical models and frameworks, and describe their programmatic and practical experiences. All submitted articles will participate in an open peer-review process and peer review evaluations will be published alongside their corresponding published articles.
We are also accepting content for our columns section. Columns are meant for a general audience and are typically not a presentation of original research or a case study.
JOERHE also features reviews of published OER. If you are interested in reviewing a published OER, please contact the Associate Editor for Innovative Practices, Columns, & Reviews, Chelsee Dickson (cdickso5@kennesaw.edu).
For full submission details for articles, columns, and reviews please visit the submissions page.
**PLEASE NOTE**
This year, all article submissions must be submitted using the JOERHEpublication template (this one is specifically for articles). All the templates can also be found on the JOERHEsubmissions page. Failure to use the template may result in your submission being rejected. If you need assistance with the template, please contact the JOERHE Managing Editor, Hilary Baribeau (hilary.c.baribeau@gmail.com) BEFORE you submit. Please download a copy of the template as a Microsoft Word document.
Submissions for JOERHE‘s 2023 issue are due by Wednesday, April 5. Submissions will not be accepted after the deadline.
