Going to ALA Annual? If so, consider attending the following Preconference workshop, featuring an all-star lineup of speakers:
“A Spoonful of Data-Driven Sugar: Using Big Business Research to Improve Customer Satisfaction in Easy-to-Implement, Single-Serving Packets”.
USAA, Amazon, Zappos, Trader Joe’s, and Starbucks are among companies ranked highest in customer service and they spend millions of dollars identifying ways to make their users happy. Learn how our panelists have tested and incorporated specific communication techniques into their workflows and patron interfaces, improving customer satisfaction and their own understanding of user needs, wants, and stress behaviors. Attendees will receive access to a digital toolkit of tips and tools. This workshop will benefit library support staff and administrators from public, academic, and special libraries.
The event will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, June 24. Speakers will include Kerry Keegan, Atlas Systems; David Ketchum, University of Oregon; Lars Leon, University of Kansas; Micquel Little, Claremont Colleges; and Bethany Mott, Redford University. The workshop is sponsored by the Sharing and Transforming Access to Resources Section (STARS) of RUSA.
