Save the Date! Its official – the next IVLA (International Visual Literacy Conference) Conference will be at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The hybrid event will feature an online Conference day Monday, October 2, with in-person Conference events happening Thursday, October 5, through Sunday, October 8. We hope to see you there!
The Conference theme is Ways of Seeing. As professionals who may be practicing artists, educators, or museum professionals, and as people with different cultural backgrounds and life experiences, we all have different perspectives when it comes to interpreting visual information. This conference will examine those perspectives and ask what we might learn from each other.
