We have begun planning our summer conference, and I have some exciting news to share, as well as an early invite to you.
Since 2011 AppState has hosted the Free-Learning Conference as a f2f conference in Belk Library in Boone, NC. It’s always been a rewarding experience, but we would like to try something new this year.
This July I’d like to explore the possibilities for taking this conference online and I’d like to invite you to participate. I know holding this as an entirely online, virtual conference using Zoom is a big move, and we’re hoping to remain true to the vision for this free online conference on the topic of teaching and learning with technology while opening this up to a broader audience.
My team and I are in conversations now about how to keep what has been best about this conference while seeing some of the potentials in a move to online. One of the areas I think we most need will be excellent presenters and sessions in Zoom.
