Application
HSLI will award $1500.00 in scholarships to
attend the annual conference held in
Urbana, IL, October 25-26, 2007.
- Applicants must be current members of HSLI (2007 dues paid) who have not attended a regional or national conference within the last 12 months paid for by their employing institution.
- Applicant must live more than 50 miles from conference location to apply for “Registration and Hotel Reimbursement.”
- Applicants must write a short essay entitled, “I believe I am eligible for a scholarship from HSLI because...”
- If awarded a scholarship, hotel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Reimbursement for hotel room expense is processed upon submission of hotel receipt and newsletter article.
- Each scholarship recipient must write an article for the next HSLI newsletter about their conference experience.
